EXPO 2020 Dubai - Connecting Minds, Creating the Future

EXPO 2020 Dubai (www.expo2020dubai.com) is a MEGA-event that was built from the ground up! 

Expo 2020 (Arabic: إكسبو 2020‎) is a World Expo to be hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. 

Expo 2020 was scheduled to open its doors in Oct/2020, but due to the pandemic it was postponed to 2021 (will be running for 6 months, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022) while keeping its original brand name as "EXPO 2020 Dubai".

Well, one of the reasons why I made this blog post is because I wanted to give a chance to people to find very important information about Expo 2020 in one place and also to emphasise the next point; of how challenging it can be to oversee, drive, lead the Cyber Resilience and Cyber Security of such record-breaking world-first (at that scale and magnitude) mega-event.

Discussing intensively an open item during a conference call, ended up being a "Kodak moment" for some of my colleagues. 

I might not be involved in construction in EXPO 2020 but when we have to visit the site (when it was still under construction) we were doing it in style! Extra awesome EXPO 2020 Dubai safety-helmet alert!!! 

District 2020 - The 'silicon valley' of the Middle East

What many people do not know is that Dubai thought of its future. After the event is finished, most of the building constructed for EXPO 2020 will be used as part of District 2020.

In other words, the Expo 2020 site will be utilised as a vibrant residential community, with cutting-edge physical and digital infrastructure.
